I saw this recipe pop up on my feed from the BOSH Facebook page, and they looked so tasty I thought I may as well give them a go!
They were a lot easier than I thought they’d be, and they taste exactly like onion bhajis, which is a good start. The ingredients here makes four burgers – about the size of your palm – unless you have giant hands… I have changed the recipe slightly to the BOSH original.
Ingredients
Burgers:
- 1 Large Red Onion
- 150g Gram Flour
- 1 Red Chilli
- 1 Small bunch Coriander
- 1 inch ginger root
- 1 heaped teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 heaped teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon Garam Masala
- 3 tablespoons water
Asian Guacamole:
- 6 cherry tomatoes
- 1/4 red onion
- 1 small chilli
- 1 tablespoon Coriander
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 quarter lime
- 1 avocado
Method

- Drain on paper towel.
- Burger, done!
- Mix all guacamole ingredients together and spread on your bun of choice.
- Eat the burger.
