I know it’s only just been Halloween, and I’m definitely against Christmas decorations and mince pies. Well, I mean, if someone offered me a mince pie I wouldn’t say no… but I’d definitely stop my boyfriend if he started pulling the tree out from the attic.
My mum actually spotted Asda’s free from Gingerbread Santas, I don’t have an Asda near me and it’s not usually a place I’d shop in if I’m honest. But maybe I should potter around their gluten-free section more often if these kinds of treats are hanging around!
Even though they are in the shape of a jolly Santa Claus, I find it acceptable that I’m eating them at my desk – gingerbread is all-year round kind of snack, right?
They actually taste quite nice, and quite like a gingerbread. I think gone are the days of a soft gingerbread for fellow coeliacs, but a crunchy gingerbread never hurt anyone! I’d highly recommend that you put them on your Christmas snack list. They’re packed in plastic bags, two in each, so they don’t go stale – perfect.
I’ve also noticed some posts about Tesco’s free from selection box this year. I first saw them on Gluten-free blogger Becky’s Instagram here. The quest for tasty Christmas snacks will not stop here; I think I’ll have to make it a priority to scope out each of the main supermarkets to find the best snacks so I can stock up!
